I was just coming upstairs when I saw a light on in the pink room..it suddenly went off and I looked to see who was in there because no one hardly ever sleeps in there and no one was there

I know someone who lives in a house that's supposed to be haunted. He says he's talked to the ghost, it's some woman. There's this big creepy looking door up a set of stairs that absolutely will not stay shut no matter how much you lock it. I saw it once, got wierd vibes, and refuse to go back.

That and I think my friend's freshman dorm was haunted. Her hall was famous for the "Reid Hall Murder" a few years back. Some student shot his RA, and the guy fell against a door and got a bloody handprint all over it. The school repainted and restained the door, but the handprint is still there. Someone told me that the blood reacted with the staining agent or something, and that's why it won't go away, but it's still freaky. My ex-boyfriend lived a few doors down, so I had to pass it a lot. That dorm was freakin' scary.

And my friend Beth lived in a dorm that used to be a women's insane asylum. Their study room in the basement used to be the shock-therapy room, and there's this big scary looking drain in the floor in the middle of the room. There's also a caved in tunnel at the east end that runs to the nearby house where the doctor used to stay. The computers in the building used to randomly turn off and on all the time.

So the moral of the story, is that if you end up going to Miami University, don't stay in Reid or Dorsey Halls.
