The last two were absolute turkeys, so the odds aren't great for #3.

I just hope that #3 introduces Grand Moff Tarken. He is a very important character, after all (only guy other than Palpatine who could boss vader around).

The main reason is, at the end of the second one, they show the Geonosians with the plans for the Death Star. But Tarkin is the archetect of the death star. That's why he is so sure it cannot be destoryed (but it is, of course). I can back this up to (for those who think I am spewing hot air).

He is a very important character, and if he's not there, I shall be highly dissapointed, because George Lucas will be contradicting himself.

Actually, it was Bevel Lemelisk (with the help of Qwi Xux) who developed the Death Star. They worked for Grand Moff Willhuff Tarkin at the Maw Installation (a top secret R&D station hidden in a cluster of black holes), but Tarkin didn't do the actual work.

No, but it was the Tarkin Doctrine, the central tenet of which was the rule by fear of force, which lead to the Death Star's design.

The first 2 were bad so I am not holding my breath!

Hayden is the WORST actor I have seen to date.

He is supposed to be dark, brooding, a guy on the edge. The futre Darth Vader.

He comes off more like a 16 year old who whines because dad won't let him borrow the car.

I will probably check out the third. Like attending a funeral or wake for an old friend.

It doenst require a deasth fo him to turn back to thge light. Several jedi do it. Kyp Durron, Mara Jade and even Luke skywalker are examples.

Fair enough, you're more than entitled to your opinion.

Personally, I thought the second was even more laughable than the first: there was a succession of pointless battle scenes that bored me silly, and Lucas' famous clunky dialogue featured strongly. Christensen's delivery is appalling and unconvincing.

Overall, both films suffer from CGI overdose: actors can't react properly when faced with a blue screen rather than an actual person, so the result is rather hammy.

Yeah, he's bad, but you can't put all of the blame on him. Those lines were awful. 'I don't like sand.' Who would say something like that to a girl they like? Even Natalie Portman, who I think is a very good or at least adaquete actress, couldn't pull them off.

Besides, you're forgetting Jake Lloyd. The kid said everything in a monotone except 'Yippee'. I watched the auditions on the DVD, there were some really good kids on there, but nooooo, they hire Jake because he forgot his lines. I'm not kidding, he forgot all of them, and George(I think) said, ohh, look he can ad-lib, let's hire him, completely forgetting the fact that he is TERRIBLE.

There are fan film awards on the Sci-fi channel or something and a few years ago, one of them was George deleting Jar Jar. It was soo funny. Controlsa, Altsa, Deletesa.

Also, there's this kid at my school who's a year younger than me, and every time I see him, he says, Meesa JarJar Binksa, etc. I swear, I have smacked him for that more times than I can count.
