Mine would be:

Spider-Man, Spider-Man, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man...

Batman is better.

DC has Batman, and some other guys who are cool but not really popular, but overall you have to go with Marvel. Stan Lee may be crazy, but he's still the best old guy ever.

NOTE: I'd prefer "I like [insert name here] better," not "[insert name here] is better."

I have several favorites.

But I think I'd have to choose 'Dazzler'. AKA Alison Blaire. First of all, not only is she gorgeous, but she gave up a promising music and acting career to be an X-man, and gave that, and the planet Earth up to be a freedom fighter in an alternate dimension. She has moxie. :)

The Hulk has always been my favorite. There's something about a big, dumb, angry green guy just smashing stuff in intense rage, and somehow managing to save the world at the same time that I find really cool.

I am, so far, the only one to vote other... So I will say that the company I choose is Games-Workshop. (If their parent company is DC or Marvel for some reason I would change my vote.)

I mean, come on... Ragnar Blackmane could take any and all of them on.

Let's not forget Eisenhorn, good ol Inqusitor Eisenhorn... "Step out!" *Crouching enemies get up and walk into the middle of the Hallway where Eisenhorn shoots them.*

Or of course we have Ibram Gaunt and my personal fav of all the "Heros" Mad Larkin.

Spider man, for a few reasons. 1 is that he can walk on walls, and says "spider sense tingling!" Another is the bad guys. Spidey bad guys are the best, what with doc oc and Venom.

I voted for DC (Love Batman, Superman and the JLA [morrison, gardner fox etc] plus they are responisble for Vertigo) but to be frank these days there is not an awful lot of difference in the was DC and Marvel write their heroes these days. There was a time where Marvel heroes were of a certain type and written in a certain way the same was true of DC. But somewhere along the line that distinctiveness is gone - These days I tend to track the better writers and go to the independents or Vertigo when I want to see something new and original.
