Well, the time when their bass player and guitarist were bound over to keep the peace after being caught shooting at pigeons with air rifles* from the roof of their practice rooms in 1978 is the first incident that springs to mind.
* The members of The Clash were the ones with the air rifles and were using them to shoot at the pigeons flying by, rather than members of the Clash shooting at "pigeons with air rifles", because that would be (1) implausible, and (2) probably sufficient defence in a court of law. Obviously.
