totally fictional ELECTION for a supranational parliament

Bring out your vote on one of the parties, to see what kind of parliament would be ellected if we would get the chance to create a supranational body in which our nations get representation.
This might be a way of creating a forum for open discussion, or one with real power, this ofcourse will be democraticly decided by the members of the different fractions in the future

This was based on the European Union idea.
But i tried to include as many parties as i could think of, making them in as general terms as possible. unfortunately the number of poll-options was limited, therefor i had to merge some parties i would rather have kept as separate entities. (maybe something for a moderator or an op to look into?)

GODDAMMIT THERE ARE WAY TOO FEW POLL-OPTIONS.

here's a list of parties i had to get rid off:

religiously inspired parties
conservative secular parties
Nationalist parties
anarchist Individuals or small Groups
BLANK-voting
Other

Use your democratic voice to ask more parties! and i do mean PARTIES!

In keeping with democratic tradition suggestion for a second term are welcome to make a more representative selection of parties.

keep the discussion going.

ps. because of the frailty of this new born democratic proces, please be so fair as to only cast your vote once. I can't afford any UN-observers to gard my electorial proces. If you consider your nation to be more important than others and demand more than one vote, you can a. rig the whole fucking thing or b. state your arguements loud and clear upon which a discussion may take place.

I expect some criticism for my work composing the first selection of parties. Every selection is a choice

i do seem to be spamming my own initiative with senseless postings.
maybe any comments on the overal sense of supranational decisionmaking devices like the european union?

Seems like you got rid of all the conservative or pseudo-conservative parties (except for the generic one) and kept in lots of the liberal ones...

yes, i did see that too.

i guessed conservative and religian based parties could be fused
then there were the nationalist parties, maybe they deserved a spot for themselves

basically since i have never heard of conservative secular parties,
was kind of creation of myself

like i said the slots are too limited

Call me stupid but how would Nationalist parties work in a Supranational arena?
Tzadzikistan

they could get elected. and rally for leaving the supranational organisation.
It didn't say this supra-organisation actually worked.

Or they could still believe in the necessity or the opportunity or just the basic realpolitical situation of the matter, (they don't have a majority yet!) of such an organisation but try to influence its workings.

just imagine being one of the new Euro-members inhabitants.

Wouldn't one country need a decent-sized population in proportion to the rest of the world for their Nationalist party to get any kind of majority? either that or (relative-)foreigners would have to vote for said Nationalist party.

nationalist parties of different nations could join up to form a faction in the supranational organisation.

although they have nationalist points in their internal politics, u don't know why they are in this supranational organisation right? maybe they just sit there and receive huge wages, to finance their party at home. they can get elected that's all there is to it.

maybe we should decide upon which shape this organisation will take.
Federal? Confederal? will the sovereign states still exist in the long run?

we need a lot more votes to make this stick.

Concluding so far i could say that there is not much enthousiasm for this election. Does anybody know what this organisation will do?

How could a party be marxist if it doesn't use a violent revolution?

Why should a Marxist party require a violent revolution?

In the past some KP's have gained power through the democratic election proces. I called them Leninist/marxist because thy intend to represent a heritage of communism or perhaps because they only just came into existance. They can they do a coup on this organisation if they want.
they are on the voting list, i don't know how big this party is in your state.
perhaps you are leading a communist state in which case i'm sure you will just send your politburo detache to the general assemblee.

keeping it on the list.

Any comments on the new European constitution? Any comments on the Union?

well, we have a union bigger than the european union already.
With more than 100,000 states in the world, we are still very small.
U can still vote for your representative, maybe some suggestion for a name would be appropriate
