Wal-Mart is the worst place in the entire world

Is it just me, or is Wal-Mart the worst place in the world? It attracts the worst people, white trash, women with beards, short guys with tall girlfriends, really fat people wearing clothing too small, and just plain smelly loud people. The place smells like so many noxious chemicals thrown together that it makes you sick to walk in there. Plus, as you struggle to make it through the assaulting atmosphere and the hoards of sub humans to find what you want, THEY DON'T HAVE A FRIGGIN' DIGITAL FISH SCALE IN THE SPORTING GOODS SECTIONS. It makes you want bust open the shotgun case, and start shooting.

It's the one place Al-Queda is allowed to blow up.

Fuck Wal-Mart.

You see *hot* hispanic women there? Where do you live?

All I see is hairy (female) and fat Mexicans that look like they just came through the Rio Grande.

It's not just a store, it's a sick and twisted state of mind.

Well, I have a deep abiding hatred for Wal-Mart as well, but it has more to do with their sanctimonious hypocrisy and the way they treat both their suppliers and their employees, as well as the illegal methods they've used in the past to stop unionization.

So let's see, you hate people, bad smells, and the fact that you can't find a digital fish scale at Wal-Mart. For the first two, I'd just recommend either ignoring them, or not going to Wal-Mart, and for the third, try a sporting goods store, I wouldn't expect Wal-Mart to have something like that. (Well, I might, but I wouldn't go around ranting about it on the internet.)

And then there's the way they destroy local businesses by sucking up all the air in the local economy, not to mention the damage their continued expanision does to US manufacturing either by forcing US manufacturers to cut costs (read: wages) in order to produce goods more cheaply or by buying goods made by child and slave labor overseas.

I hate Wal-Mart too for all the union-bashing, wage-decreasing, etc. Did you know that the starting wage for a garment worker in China is 30 cents an hour? And practically everything in Wal-Mart is made in China.

Of course, it's not just Wal-Mart, it's all corporations. Down with corporations.

Hmm. I hope European chains don't let them set a foot on our soil.

I've worked in a supermarket. Not a discount.
There's the hobo in the trash containers and there's rich people . So you see, there's people of all sorts who go there.

Nowadays the customers from any supermarket chain, from discount to "normal", here in Belgium are from all layers of society. It is truly ironic to see new BMW's and and Mercedes' on the parking lot of Aldis.

Wal-Mart is the symptom of a larger problem: corporations taking over our world. Everything is being seen through the eyes of profit. Paris Hilton doesn't even know what a soup kitchen is while people eat at soup kitchens. Is that civilized?

Oh. I thought there was an actual reason why this topic was created. Hating the store because Wal-mart shoppers are ugly? Haha..That’s just childish and shallow. Anyway, I actually do have a good reason to dislike Wal-mart—the nation’s largest private sector employer. I understand that at first glance, Wal-mart’s low prices are obviously appealing to some consumers, but evidence from across the country is showing that these retail stores come at the expense of American workers, labor laws, and community living standards. It’s like a virus spreading to every small community in America. Wherever they land, Wal-Mart's relentless pressure crushes surrounding small businesses as well as the companies it does business with.

It’s sometimes hard to believe all of this but if you actually live in a Wal-mart community and happen to know a bit of economics, you’ll totally understand. It’s awful how it changes towns. As someone put it, “Are we shopping our way straight to the unemployment line?” basically, they symbolize the worst in American capitalism.

Ok , well on a lighter note, One of the funniest skits I've seen on Saturday Night Live was the super Wal-Mart skit. They were emphasizing on how big the stores are. Haha… it was so funny.

The following is part of the skit:
[two female door greeters (with a southern accent) stand and marvel at the massive space surrounding them ]

Greeter #1: This store has to be at least eight city blocks! I mean, that is about 500 miles of store!

“I knowww! Thank God we work near the door! Otherwise, we'd never be able to get out!”

Greeter #1: I knowww! Thank God we work near the door! Otherwise, we'd never be able to get out!

Female Customer #1: Uh.. excuse me..

Greeter #2: Oh, hello! Welcome to Wal-Mart!

Greeter #1: Hi! You are now officially in Wal-Mart!

Female Customer #1: Uh.. can you point me to Sporting Goods?

Greeter #2: I can point you t'wards it.. but, I gotta be honest with you.. I never even seen Sporting Goods, I only heard about it.

Greeter #1: [ hands customer a bottle of water ] Here. Take some water with you, you're gonna need it for the journey.

Female Customer #1: Oh.. thank you.. [ exits ]

Greeter #2: She's never gonna make it, she's too old!

Greeter #1: I knowww! People come in this Wal-Mart, and they never leave!

Greeter #2: I knowww! I heard that Kathy Peacock died in this Wal-Mart. And they didn't find her body for weeks.

Greeter #1: I heard that Kathy Peacock was born in this Wal-Mart!

Greeter #2: I know! Two babies a day are born in this Wal-Mart!

Greeter #1: This Wal-Mart's gonna have to elect its own President!

Greeter #2: This Wal-Mart has it's own capitol!
Greeter #1: There's a globe in School Supplies of just this Wal-Mart! That's how big this Wal-Mart is!

Greeter #1: I knowww!

Greeter #2: I knowww!

[ another Female Customer steps forward ]

Female Customer #2: Excuse me..?

Greeter #2: Hi, welcome to Wal-Mart!

Greeter #1: Hi! You are now officially in Wal-Mart!

Female Customer #2: Thank you.. Um.. can you tell me where I would be able to find bath rugs, with patriotic baby ducks on them?

Greeter #2: Uh.. bath rugs with patriotic baby ducks is in.. Aisle 6,000! And, here.. [ grabs poncho ] ..you're gonna need this poncho! ' Cause I think it's rainy season in that part of Wal-Mart!

Greeter #1: And they might not speak English over there, because there are three indigenous languages to this Wal-Mart!

Female Customer #2: Oh.. uh.. thank you..? [ exits ]

Greeter #2: Bloo-bloo-bloop?

Greeter #1: What does that mean?

Greeter #2: It means "You're welcome!" in Wal-Mart.

Greeter #1: Boy, is she in for it.

Greeter #2: I knowww! The competing weather systems in this Wal-Mart could cause a tornado to happen!

Greeter #1: I knowww! And that active volcano by Electronics is about to blow!

Greeter #2: I knowww!
