Is this game dying?

I don't think so. I just think a lot of people are getting tired of Puppets and those are dying off.

NS is like the Stock Market, it goes up and down...we're in a sort of recession now, but newbs are starting to come back, true a larger than normal number are n00bs, but its all good.

yeah, if the server was better.. well.. it would be better.

there are other things that are dying, slowly, but thats to be expected. old ways get replaced, for beter or worse

Well...I don't really know, as I'm pretty new here. However, I know that I'll be around for a while. Though I'll probably move over to NS2 when that opens up. And yeah, the server is the only major reason I haven't been able to recruit my friends into signing up and sticking around.

So naturally, my vote was for peanut butter.

The forums are less fun because word games were banned. But hopefully when the Jolt move comes, Word Games will be legal.

yes. why, i remember the good ol' days when i was only 100 million, the forum was always packed with spammers, mods, and regulars, and all sort of noobs. Of course, im a NS Boom nation. You see, when the first people decovered Nation States they told all their friends. So causing a huge number of new nations. (I was told of this game by a friend.) Do you older nationa remember those days?

Not dying, I think, but the UN resolution quality < almost anything...I didn't want to mess with it, so I resigned. :)

I'll stay as long as there are plenty of people here to post to.

People have been saying this since I started here last summer.


That being said, I vaugely remember when membership in the forums hit 100,000, (sometime last fall, IIRC).
Then it peaked around 125-130,000 a few months ago.
It has been declining slowly but steadily ever since.

The inability to post due to the slow server has a lot to do with it.

up to a point a guy got Deated for saying could so use bioweapons at least thats the only intertation i could think of and the post he said it on he got banned for exsessive casue he droped nuclear waist on his oppent's water suplly and call the guy a b**trd casue he the guy reffearing said [Expilative Removed] who here bets they know what that ment (the guy i acutally wrote it like that) i know a guy who played with him a he (he's not even a spokperson and hadn't even been on the topic with the war the guy was in.) by the way th guys name was shunk

I dont think its dying. What are you basing your statement on? If its member numbers, I can tell you that membership of NS has shrunk and grown several times now, between 80,000 to 120,000 people. Its nothing to worry about

I doubt it will die. Many games such as Race War Kingdoms seems to die down, them magically revives itself, multiple times. I don't expect this game to just die. P.S BTW, I'm new. All hail Therasil!
