So, is there any one out there that has a general studies exam today?

Has any one actually put the time and effort in to revise?

Does any one really care?

Maybe it's changed a bit since I did it (2001), but how can you revise for general studies? Read an encyclopedia?

You can't because whatever the exam is supposed to be about, the questions are completely unrelated. That happened to me in my General Studies AS a few weeks ago.

I can remember there being a load of multiple-choice question about fabrics. I'd never even heard of half of them...

Yeah, I have an Alevel exam in an hour and a half, and I have literally done no revision! To me it's just all about common sense, well most of it any way, and who really needs it? The university I'm going to has actually said that they 'exclude' general studies, so I could fail and it not matter, so what's the point? It was a compulsory subject for me, but the year after us (year12) have it as a choice and quite a few have chosen it.. What's it like? Is it good? What do you think of it?
