I, personally, like it. Nice little story line, fun missions, and you can blow stuff up real good. And you can pick up hookers (and put them down.) What do YOU think about it?

I've never really played it, but I've had a brief go on the PS2 version, the controls were pretty poor but the freedom was fantastic. :)

I dont want little Johnny exposed to anything that actually happens! I want him to leave my house at the age of fourty with the knowledge that everybody is friendly and that nothing exists!
Of course, GTA is a GAME. It is played for FUN, usualy by people who realize that there is a differnce between killing a person who doesnt exist and killing a person who DOES. I played Doom when I was about five, I had a great time killing zombies, demons and assorted evil, so far the worst I've done is killed a few thosand mosquitos and eaten I dont know how many chickens, but they were dead in the first place.

I thought it was pretty fun. It's a game, you're not s'posed to take it so seriously! Most people are intelligent enough to know the difference between a game and reality.

I thought it was severly over-rated. I played it til the last island, in GTA3, and realised that what I had done for the last week was go from A to B, running over pedestrians. Funny the first 772 times, but it gets tired after that. As for vice city, well, change the map, and a new soundtrack, and motorbikes, it's more of a half-arsed expansion pack, than a new game. Same gampeplay that's been there since GTA1. Go from A to B, run down civilians. Somehow, a mediocre 3D engine makes all the difference to a lot of people, but I'm not impressed.
Maybe about 70%, as a score. Maybe not quite that high.
