It's the penguins, polar bears, and eskimos that live in the fridge of each individual households.

Depending on the type of fridge you buy determines whether you'll get a penguin, polar bear, or eskimo. :P

I have a no-name brand fridge....There seems to be a camel in a tutu in my fridge..He's not so good at turning off the light. :(

my fridge turns the light off just before it closes so i'm pretty sure it does stay off..

Unless something spooky is going on in there

Actually, no. There's a little lever that turns off the light when you close the door. You can trigger it manually and see.

That mystery would remain unsolved if not for that damn switch that turns the light off when the door closes.

Actually, I can confirm that at least one fridge has been seen to have the light go off and stay off while the door was closed, and turn on automatically when opened.

I have a friend see, with a old video cam.

Who once got very, very, bored.

I got in a fridge (full size) once and can confirm three things.

The light does go off.

It is cold.

Never trust your mates to let you out again.

yeah next to the light in your fridge is a thing that when the door closes it pushes and turns the light off

I have some food that's been...well, it's not really food anymore. It's a pre-industrial society. Anyway, sometimes I wonder if it generates light while the door is closed.

I have a small village living in my refrigerator. They have a large (for them) fire going on. So all my food is smoked... mmm smoky.

Some years ago, I got an old boyfriend to climb inside a fridge to see if the light really did go off when the door was shut. Well, I told him I was curious to know...

I'm still waiting for him to come out and tell me.

I drilled a hole in the door with a number 13 drill bit to check. Lemme just say that my parents were NOT happy.

well if you eat the light then yes it will be off but really no one knows the true answer like how airplanes stay in the sky.

Okay, I , as the title suggests , have a question....

When the fridge door is closed, does the light stay on?

With every fridge I've ever used, the light goes off when the door is less than a couple of millimetres open - if you close it slowly and view it edge-on, you can see it turn off.

I'll ask my fridge... he talks to me..

Yo, Billy, you still alive in there?

That's strange, he was all thumping around and screaming a while ago. Must of calmed down, I can let him out now...

BILLY!

I've seen the light turn off, staying off is another topic altogether. Holding the fridge door open for 3 sec. shouldn't create a small nation, but we have mold in the back where the light is located. Alot of mold. Considering I've never seen food mold grow on car carpets, I have a sneaking suspicion my fridge light goes on and off by itself. :?
