Im wondering if anybody has noticed this, but it seems that n00bs come in phases, based around a particular type of n00bishness.

I remember, when I first joined NS is was the n00bzies, IE: Nazi nations whos first post was 'KILL THE JEWS!!!', then they went away. I rather liked them actually, they had a sort of respectability usualy associated with being able to spell 'the' correctly.
Then things died down, Zaibock was banned, I got some RPing in, then Wardome showed up.
I guess now we should have called Wardome a herald, he was around for a short while.
His first topic, as I recall, its been deleted, was selling robots. Well, this was fine, its just that at the time Resicorp was being a differnt kind of Nazi and refused to allow anybody else to call things 'robots'.
It doesnt really matter though, his stuff was crappy.
Anyway, he got pissed when Resi threatened him, and launched into a flame.
And of course, ever since then we've been getting n00bicus Idiodicus infestations. I wont name names, but you can easily recognize them by the fact that they post absurdly godmoddish war declarations, then launched into flames when ignored/told what they did wrong.

There is also the hacker n00b, who tries to instill 'F3ER' bus comes across as anything but |33+. Hacker n00bs can be easily recognized through poor grammar (I R T3H LE3T HAX0R K1NGS), lack of proficency with @d\/4nC3|> 133+|\|355, and an exclamation trail that lacks 'shift' or 'one' and always ends with 'q' or 'w.'

How many intelligent n00bs have there been, the ones that say things well but they are stupid things. Like the "Kill all the Jews" types.

Sir Addamous, while still in his plane, looks at all of the nations younger than his own and feels somehow important.

I was refering to noobs, not newbies.

A newbie is simply somebody who is new
A noob is somebody who is generaly an ass, incompetent, and not willing to learn the rules.

Are you saying that you are incompetent? Because your post is on par with what most noobs generaly say, IE: U R STOOPID!, even if it was done by an individual with an above room-temperature IQ.

we seem to have a name for all of these younger/newer people. but what about us old farts. Don't we get some sort of title?

My favourite noob mistake?

Somebody here when they joined just wouldn't take hints - got warned repeatedly for various rules violations, including flaming, derogatory/insulting language, etc, and withing a few days got the boot.



This person created a new nation and ran to the Moderation board to rant and rave about the unfair treatment recieved at the hands of a blatantly conservative Mod who had banned him simply for being a liberal.



That mod was..... Stephistan.

The person in question has since outgrown their noobishness and has become a fine member of our group.

Well I am not a complete idiot, but my spelling and grammer are not the best. :oops: Yes I do hate when people use the obvious stupid text like: "if NE 1 is 4 U i am" and general stuff like that. or if they spell "girl", "gurl". But my question is when do you stop being a newbie. What would you all consider the point when you are no longer new?
I just need to know.
