I havent had time to see this - I hear its amazing. When's it on the History channel?
It is amazing. I bought it on DVD. The history should have something on their website about it.

They used to show it on Sunday nights at 10.30. Those were the days.

Best show on the television machine.
Excellent series. I also recommend Stephen Ambrose's book on which it was based.

What do you think of Band of Brothers?
I voted excellent in that it presents the realities of war and the humans that fight them honestly. My grandson and I currently are watching the series on HBO On Demand. Although he may seem young at 9 years of age I feel it is an appropriate time for him to see the realities of war rather than develop a childish glorification of what it is.
