No LOL (no riot)...I was asked to investigate what is happening around these parts. And so I am. Thus far I cannot say I am impressed with that I have seen.

I would very much like to see the evidence of:

1. trolling (accompanied by a definition of trolling
2. repeated flamebait

Of course, if it is all true (no links...but specific examples in context of what was said to LPB and back) then it should be no problem.

In the meantime, I wonder why nobody else was deleted. Why would any nation which has a very clean track record in terms of Rping and posting suddenly flamebait and troll for no apparent reason?

You flamebaited in the Australian politics thread, you were warned, you complained that you were telegrammed with a demand for your silence, there was no such telegram, and then you ranted about me. Not wise, and the consequences, not surprising. You look it up yourself, you posted in each one of the threads. There were at least 4, I recall.

I wish for you to provide evidence to support these claims. If what you say is true, then you surely will have the evidence to back up claims which otherwise could be taken as defamatory statements.

I have also noticed that at university debates, the Chair automatically commands great resentment, from the opening of proceedings. There is an automatic assumption that because their job is to rule on procedure, they will use that to hinder you with malice. I am proud to say I am above such knee-jerk reactions.

Hijacking my thread?

The leap from what happened to Lord Pheonix Benicius, to automatic contempt for authority figures, is not a great one. :wink:

I think it's completly idiotic that as soon as someone gets deated everyone assumes it was for political reasons. As if there was NO way someone from their side of the political spectrum could be a troll :p

And yes, I've noticed the same whenever I've been in debates and was assigned the task of being a mediator. I don't think I've ever felt so hated :p

He was complained about for flaming in the Moderation Forum here:

His only comment on the flaming was :

"I will lodge a complaint...I wish for Filamai and Smeagol-Gollum to be asked not to post in threads created by me. Every time I create a thread both these people harass me on everything. If they do not stop then I shall take this higher."

It should be noted that the thread in which the flaming occurred was not one created by him, not that that should make any difference.

So, not only was he flaming, he was also attempting to suppress the views of others who disagree with him. "His" threads were to be only for those who agreed with whatever he said.

He was warned about his flaming.

He then complained about the Moderator, making unconnected allegations (which can be seen in the thread).

He then started his own post here:

complaining that he had received a mysterious telegram asking him to not post, which he would not or could not produce. He made further unfounded allegations against a Mod, and was deleted.

But, by no means let the facts stand in the way of a good conspiracy theory.

Within hours, the following post appeared:

"Right...I am back!....[This is Benicius - which you probably guessed. I created this nation long ago on advice from a friend who used to play on NS that as a conservative I would likely be deleted at some time. Rather than start from scratch, I should create a second nation in the event that such a tragedy should occur]....Let the debate continue..."

So, not only is this person a flamer, he is a serial flamer.

Not only that, but he pre-plans his actions so as to avoid the usual penalty for flaming.

Additionally, he seeks to suppress the opinions of others.

And any action taken against him results in "conspiracy" charges against the Moderators.

IMHO, this person is beneath contempt.

And, if he wishes to complain about this, let him to do.

If I am deleted for "flaming" for what I have written, so be it. I will not make a return. If the rules are so structured as to allow this type of behaviour to be avoided by pre-planning, I think that is a glaring weakness.

Every now and then, someone comes along who goes on a crusade to expose this-or-that Mod conspiracy. They usually get bored or outstay their welcome. Just ignore him, Smeagol-Gollum. He wants to provoke you, do not give him the satisfaction. Let him shout into the abyss. Perhaps you will see it take him.
