Okay, I already asked for some financial advice from the NS General Crew a while back, but now I need some chess advice.

I just played my friend and he beat me. I was in the lead with 3/4 pawns in the early game. I start feeling cocky, making one bad move and he comes back and checkmates me. This isn't the first time it has happened. God! It seems like he always gets lucky. It's insane. I bet he h4x or something... :evil:

Anyways, I need help from you guys. Tell me anything (starting move, combos, etc.) that will help me school this guy. Thanks.

Damn everytime I play I win in like 9 moves.

He's not that stupid.

Look at your pieces as vital parts of an overall army, standard infantry, snipers, flankers and officers.

It should stop you from getting pieces off track and voiding their role.

Do you know of a good starting move? I usually just use the standard, "king pawn up 2" start. And would you say killing his queen with your queen is a good move?

Ya, I know the move. I tried it on him once, he caught it and tore my army apart piece by piece.

Im a fan of rooks.
If you can get your rooks into the back two rows..you can decimate his men, and set up a nice checkmate.
