Did anyone see last nights rugby?

Great performance by the All Blacks. Graham Henry proves to be the master coach once again.

If we're going to talk about England vs NZ I'd prefer if it was about cricket for the time being.

2-0 in the test series, what a great performance by the lads.

Sure, if you can explain Einstein's theory of relativity in three or less words...

During the WC we were saying that the poms relied on about 3 players, but I was constantly infomred that they have great depth. 36-3 is a hiding.

Disapointing that Jerry didn't get a run, would have been good to see a few crunching tackles.

36-3 is a hell of a beating and England have deteriorated somewhat since the world cup, but lets not delude ourselves that this was a full strength England side or that only 2/3 players are missing from our world cup side.

Things look a little black at the moment, but we'll pick ourselves up, we are world champions after all.

The ABs will thrash everyone for 3 and a half years and then lose the semis. We're about due for a WC fuck up against South Africa again I think.

Don't make excuses. Sir Clive didn't. As for the soccer,

england didn't just have 3 good players.

they had one good player, Wilkinson.

without him they are being shown up for what they are, 2 dimensional.

As an Aussie it is rare that I'll support the Kiwis in anything but at least they play rugby the way it should be played.

To be fair, they had a few very good forwards as well. Jonny wouldn't have helped them on Saturday because of a distinct lack of kickable penilties and ball going to the english backs.

i say remove the penalties from the game of rugby at it will suddenly be exciting again. either that or lower the points for penalties thereby forcing teams to go for the try-line more often.

rugby, like all sport, is a form of entertainment and i think many of the 'purists' forget this. It'll never be a major international sport if all the points are scored from the foot.
