Bush, Kerry, or shut the hell up?
For the past month it seems as though damn near every topic has either been a debate about homosexuality or who you would rather win the election. In none of these 'arguments' has any sort of agreement been made and they all inevitably turn to a flame war.
So here it is-
Shut up. Now. Or I will shoot myself.
Thankyou

At least there's not been stuff from Nazis
I'm starting to consider whether I will run polls like that in the future. NS is so left-wing that it's no contest. I'd bet a million bucks that Kerry comes out on top of your poll.

Thats because the people that play NS tend to be younger, and younger people are left-leaning.

NS soes NOT represent the majority of the American public, because it has a large amount of non-American users, and those Americans that hang out here are left-leaning because the mods are left-leaning, and less likely to censure a leftist.

My grandfather was a fanatical Democrat. Basically, any "x are y" statement is likely to be wrong.

Kerry but I'd certainly welcome a rest from the debate for a little while as well.

But in general, would you agree that younger people tend to be left leaning in their views?

Depends on how young.
At this time, college students are relatively conservative, given what they were in the 60's and 70's - its about 50/50 IIRC. If your talking about high-schoolers and middle schoolers, yeah they're dominated by liberals, I think.

In reality, no candidate matches my needs. They are so similar it is shocking. Kerry is a right leaning centrist while Bush is right wing. Even with two axes on this left-right scale, they are so very close.
I therefore vote shut the hell up!

I'm talking about college and younger. But your'e right, compared to the 60's colleges are conservative.
I was so far right wing when I was younger it was funny. Now I am happy when I piss off both sides because it means I am moderate independent, right where I want to be.
I will also vote a third party this year, because I hate the way the RNC and DNC have taken over politics and have decided there should only be two parties, theirs.
And all Republicans and Democrats can do is snipe and bicker at each other, like they care about anything but their own agendas.

I came from a rather upper-class high-school (graduated this year :D ) , and about 50% of my highschool classmates were super pro-Bush... and by super i mean stickers on their binders and stuff... 25% weren't so bad, but still Republican, and the rest were either Liberal like me, some other thing, or just didn't care... it's all about who the parents are or their maturity level. They follow their parents mostly...
