As much as I like Tony, Geezer, Bill, and I guess even Ozzy, I have to go with Motorhead on this one. And the reason for that is simply one word: Lemmy!!
These music polls hurt me. I haven't heard of anyone.

My personal favorite band of all time is Black Sabbath.
So, thats who gets my vote....
But..
Lemmy rules.

Motorhead! Lemmy is a legend!
He sure is....
But arent Toni, Bill, Ozzy, and Geezer equally, if not greater legends?

Um, no. Lemmy also roadied for Jimi Hendrix, and he wrote Ace Of Spades. Living. Fukkin'. Legend.

Bah.
"Ace of Spades" is Motorheads "Paranoid".
A quickly written piece , intended for radioplay.
now...
"Built for Speed" , or Jack The Ripper..or "Too Late, Too Late"
THOSE are awsome Motorhead songs.

Let's not forget his spell in Hawkwind and, more importantly, the fact that he shagged the Nolan Sisters.

Choose the option of listening to Motörhead and seeing what you are missing, perhaps?
***
I'll just smugly and irritatingly point out that I think I am the first one on the page to actually spell the name of Lemmy's band correctly..

Yeah, Motörhead gets my vote.
But it's almost a tie for me.
Still a)Motörhead's career seems to have "died with dignity" (although
I still like them - "Ace of Spades" and "Iron Fist" are two songs I can
think of from the top of my head that I still play)
b) Ozzy and Black Sabbath seem to have sold out.
And I HATE when bands do that.
You never saw Lemmy do his own reality show, and that's probably
for the best.
But I still like "Psycho Man" "Paranoid" "Iron Man" and "Back on Earth", though.

All of the songs by Sabbath you mentioned.....suck.
"Back on Earth" qwsnt even a Sababth tune...that was an Ozzy song.
Find and buy/download these albums.
Technical Ecstasy.
Sabotage.
Master of Reality.
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath.
Paranoid (the album)
Black Sabbath.
My personal favorites are Technical Ectstacy, and Sabotage.
Two of the best metal albums ever, and part of what started metal off.
