It seems as though their aren't as many liberals on NationStates anymore. Maybe they've just been quiet, or maybe I just haven't ben paying attention. Don't get me wrong, I am not a true conservative either, but I still am not a liberal. I would say I am on the moderate/conservative border.

Liberals are here, they just take the forum of extreme left or masking themselves as "capitalist" when in reality they are pretty damned far left.

Liberals here are just like Liberals in America. They number many, but the ones that speak out are few.

America misuses the word liberal though. Anyone even slightly to the left of centre is branded a liberal. Like how they were referred to as "Clinton and those damned liberals."

Liberal politics does not have to be left wing. It's definition comes from some gay ass latin word meaning free, lebris or something, I dunno, no doubt someone else does. It's when the government takes a step down the control ladder, and lets the people have more freedoms to do as they will. America has warped the word and it has become something of an insult used by the right to belittle the left.

Liberals want more personal freedom but dont want more economic freedom while conservatives want economic freedom while they dont really care about personal freedom.

I find liberals are here in quite large numbers... although some of them don't seem to be spamming as much as they used to.

I'm a liberal who was very conservative up until last year. I don't usually see the need to scream at every conservative I come across, though. ;)

By the way, Cotton, am I the only one who thinks that's mocking Bush instead of liberals? That's really hilarious.

It doesn't help that many people go home during the summer and don't have quite as much access to the computer as they did while school was in session.
