I didn't know him that well, as I'm pretty new. However, while exploring the forums, I ran across many of his threads. His approach was nearly a primer in pushing the limits of what was deemed acceptable. I admit that I read in awe as he bombed countries, put his royal princes on the marriage market, killed off his own people without batting an eye, and invaded other countries under the slightest pretext...or finally pushed them into invading him.

To all that, I can only give the following eptitaph: FWS, you magnificent bastard!

I personally believe that his RP skills were rather high, just that he tended to drastically underestimate the skill of his foe, overestimate the skill of his men, and in the beginning (though stopped after a while) he posted opposition casualties. We can see with the communist uprising thread that he could indeed write an intelligent post.

He didn't get kicked off of these boards because the mods didn't like his racism, he got booted because he threatened to kill people. I'd have to concur with that; although you have to give him credit for being able to type well...he was annoying more in the IC sense than anything and I didn't know him at all in the OOC sense.

If he threatened to kill people, which I wouldn't doubt, I say he had it coming to him...

Look the whole point of this is nothing to do with the general thread. As I've had to point out before, just before you enter II, it says "Roleplaying etiquette enforced." (or words to identical effect.) This way, we manage to isolate what he says as his actual opinion from how he plays. We are noting his passing as he could write well, which is what we look for in a roleplaying thread. You can be glad his nation/character died, but please leave the fact that the user has been banned for elsewhere.

I was an ally of his nation, and first time I joined NS and came on the forum there were like 6 different threads with attacks on FWS. Takes a lot of work to defend against that.

A mistake, yes? Actually, read his communist uprising RP, from start to finish if you have the time. It's very good stuff. He godmodded because no-one ever gave him a chance to learn the skills, they just numberwanked thousands at him. What should he have done?

The thing that got him so much response was the fact that he was obviously fairly intelligent. He may have been a coward, but he was no idiot. You could tell from his posts. If he didn't have that, he would have not gotten anywhere and not gotten that large of a rise out of the international community.

Hey, hey... I think the fact he's finally gone is enough for most people - he's dead, he's gone, stop talking about him. I'm keeping my personal feelings towards FWS to myself, but aren't you who are sitting here insulting him just flaming his already well-grilled corpse? Seems a bit silly to be 'carrying on his legacy' by talking about him when you were so glad to see him banned - he might have deserved it but your bringing him up means his 'legacy' may go on a lot longer than his (very short) adventure on NS.

On a less diplomatic note, though, his constant posting did used to clog up the forums - at one point half the threads on the first two pages were started by him, or some other similar amount. I forget the exact amount - I was a bit peeved at seeing another thread with his name in :P

well, I am rounding off his civil war for him, there were lots of views made, so I assume people checked. The posts are written by him, I just stick them up.

Legend? There have been far more entertaining and notorious people on here. This guy barely made a splash, like many of his kind before him.

Yea. We'll all miss him. May he rest in peace; simply too bad he's against starting over in a new storyline as a new person. And yes, I realize that what a lot of you say about him (negatively and positively) was true, but for a man who jumped into the rping world with no experience, made the impact he did, got that many posts in so few a time, and then got himself banned....it's a wonder, isn't it?

Jordaxia, wish him luck for me. Whether he's truly racist or not, I hope he enjoys his life. And if he is racist, maybe someday he'll come to see what most people think of racism, and find himself agreeing with it. And if not...hey, theres nothing wrong with going against public opinion.
