Amazing that you presume to claim the ability to read my mind. I actually thought that Reagan was a halfway decent president,even though I disagree with most of his policy decisions. I just simply think that he wasn't the godlike figure that modern Republicans are trying to make him out to be. I also respect Senator McCain and columnist William Safire,even though I disagree with them 98.9% of the time. You know why I respect them? Because 1)they have the courage of the convictions to disagree with their party leadership from time to time and 2)they won't call you a terrorist or traitor for disagreeing with them.

You obviously didn't read my response. I stated as clearly as I knew how that there are Republicans that I can respect because they have they have the courage of their convictions and won't name call anyone who disagrees with them.

Was my little list over the top? ABSOLUTELY. Could it be considered flame bait? Probably. But you know what? Compared with Limbaugh's antics, Michael Savage calling my political orientation a frickin' mental disease,Ann Coulter suggesting that I and those who believe like me ought to be killed for the good of the country,and all sorts of other crap,not to mention they way the right wing has virtually turned the word "liberal" into a swear word over the course of my 24 years on this planet,my little devolution into a spittle-flecked rant is but a drop in the bucket. Does it excuse my behavior? No. But at this point,I really don't give a crud because I'm tired of my side taking it and taking it and taking it like someone stuck in a co-dependent relationship and not standing up for themselves.
