absolutely nothing. now im asking myself this, after the horrors of the seattle riots, why didnt the same thing happen down in the great state of georgia? ill tell you why.

1. we keep our shit togther down here
2. the actual meeting was at an island that the protesters didnt have access to
3. since the meeting wasnt where the protests were, the 75% of the people that show up for that kind of thing didnt go...... because the people in question go hoping for a riot with great opportunities for looting

now im sure im going to catch hell over this with you liberals and such, and im also sure that you'll say, well its because of the corporate news media, and government oppression that kept people. granted there was an ample supply of police to keep the peace, but if these dempnstrations are all about being peaceful, then why did everybody stay away? well, if you've been paying attention to anything ive said then you would know...... for you slow types ill say it again. people show up to these things hoping for riots

Yeah. I bet the Atlanta police would ride through the crowd on horse back with swords cutting off people's heads.

Well... Bush pulls in some of the largest crowds of demonstrators in history. Maybe people figured he's got the message that everyone hates him by now :D

Perhaps the anti-globalists are running out of public support?

Even if its not true, one can hope, right? 8)

That's why the South is great. I really can't stand opposition politics. Things are a lot simpler and clearer with just one party.

I think part of the answer is that Georgia law enforcement has fairly recently purfomed one of the biggest crowd control and security situations that the world can offer, The 1996 Summer Olympics.
