I have something I need to tell you all...

I can't take it anymore! I've been hiding something from you all for a long time. This isn't going to be easy, and you're going to have a hard time accepting it. What I'm about to say is going to change everything. I'm still not sure if I should tell you, but I love you and respect you and I think you need to know. You're going to have to trust me, because if you don't, it could destroy everything.

We're living in the matrix.

Not quite, but close. We are all AI constructs in a modelig program to see what the real world would be like if some basic attribute were different. We have been unable to ascertain what the initial divergent attribute is, however the concensus is that it goes along the lines of "what if people were not rational actors".

Oh please. My life doesn't have the budget for blockbuster special effects like the Matrix.

Oh please. My life doesn't have the budget for blockbuster special effects like the Matrix.Hell, my life doesn't have the budget for that old BBC show Thunderbirds. Remember that thing? Can you believe that there's a live action version coming to theaters this summer? Saw the trailer last night before Harry Potter--it's beyond awful.

The Matrix does not exist. It is merely a figment of your imagination. The agents are here to help you. Besides, who needs to pay for a movie when you can just get one free?

I've got some pills you can take if you want to "leave" the Matrix.

OMG THUNDERBIRDS!!! That was that stupid bad animation show where they were like plastic dolls or something! That was awesome!
That's the one, and let me tell you something--it loses a lot in the translation to live action.

We're living in the matrix.

Oh right, should I go get some assault rifles and SMGs and go shoot up some people in a skyscraper now?

Face it : the Matrix films were descriptions of psychotic behaviour and episodes of delusion experienced by the central character - this is why the rationale in the background (humans as batteries, c'mon, check your physics) made absolutely no sense at all, it was all just the product of a fractured and violent mind.
