Do you believe that Ronald Reagan's death will impact the Novemeber election? If so how and why?

Keeping in mind that the Reagans are at odds with the Bush administration over stem-cell research and there is a good chance they won't be voting for him..

However, do you believe it will help or hurt or make no difference for the election?

Do you believe that it will help or hurt Bush if he tries to make too many connections (while probably false) about Reagan and himself?

Offhand, I cant recall the death of any President ever having much influence on the polls, especially 5 months after.
The election is heating up, and the campaigning is really getting going.

Unless a spokesman for the reagan family publicly adressess, and endorses John Kerry...I doubt it will have much impact.

I think the issues over the election will overshadow the death of our former President, really. Even though people are still behind Reagan's ideas, voters will still vote for the person who has ideas that the voter agrees with.

If it had happened closer and it was a dead heat between the two candidates, it might have motivated a small percentage of voters to turn out and vote Republican out of party loyalty, but happening this far ahead, I can't imagine it having any effect at all.

I don't think it matters at all, to be honest.

Yes - It will prompt comparisons between Reagan and Bush - This will make Bush look bad.

Bush is doing plenty good at that all by himself.
