Is anyone here using this programm, Skype?

I was given this link by a friend. It is supposed to be some kind of voice chatting software with improved sound quality from the makers of the KaZaA. Do you think it is safe to download and use? (After all, the KaZaA was spyware ridden). If you use it- is it any good?

I had heard some stuff about Skype awhile back from my techie friends and they weren't too impressed with it. Here's a nice site with links to reviews and critique of Skype. Sounds like if you're interested in using the Internet for phone calls, there are more reliable programs out there.

the Lite version ain't so good - besides, you have to pay and pop ups still... pop up...? Kazaa totally messed up my computer :evil:
