I'm using Mozilla Firefox. Not because I wanted to just because I.E. got infected with some virus and doesn't work anymore.

IE--hate to say it but I use a pc and I don't care enough to learn Linux or MOzilla. I'm taking the path of least resistance.

I actually am currently using that browser on my Mac. I almost used it for my PC too, but there were a couple of things that were not being shown correctly on a few sites that I visit often. So I kept on looking and found Opera.

Internet Explorer, but I've got some type of lycos search engine spyware, if that persists I will kill my computer, and thus use nothing. I can't even type in the name of a thread without it trying to search on me...

Trust me, there is a difference. I used Internet Explorer for years and I do not want to go back to it because I have fallen in love with Opera.

That was on my brother's computer. I think you can just uninstall it like it was just another program...

Not when a search for Lycos on your computer reveals nothing but history files  I've tried two spyware killers: Search and Destroy and Ad-adaware. I'll check into this bazooka, but I seem to have stumbled upon some registry strings that this loves. I suppose if I watch my processes when I search I can kill the file that activates the search

For NS, I use MSN explorer. It's supposed to be a way to have all your MSN stuff together, but I use it to surf. It's better when the forum crashes than IE.

Hehe, I know. I was talking about the Lycos thing. I think that can be simply removed like another program. He should still get that Spybot stuff to get spyware away. But I think the Lycos thing can simply be uninstalled.

For some reason my IE crashes almost everytime I try to use it. Its good though, cos often pop-ups come up as IE windows, and you can zap them by just killing the whole group.

I used to always use IE, but now I have moved to Firefox and I am not looking back. Tabs are the best! I have my email, google news, slashdot and nation states as my start up tabs, it is the best!

MyIE2. I guess I should vote Internet Explorer

My friend recommended that one. I tried it but did not see anything better on it than Opera so I stuck with Opera.

You should of put "Other" since it is not really IE.

I use Mozilla, and have been for the last 6 months. I love it, because of the tabbed-browsing feature, simple as that.

Opera here, too! (v 7.2) I'll never understand why people WANT to use a browser like Internet Exploder (heh) that crashes all the time and is riddled with security holes. In Opera you have control over just about everything (and I love mouse gestures)!

IE, only because I am very suspicious and don't trust any third-party applications, unless they are well known (ie. Macromedia Products) or come with something I have brought.

I run Avant browser over IE6. It's very good. Tabbed, lots of mouse movements, faster then IE alone, stops all (almost) pop-ups, and loads more. If any IE user fancies it, just down it from the site (google 'Avant browser'). Installs easily, looks very good and if you don't like it, it just uninstalls. Great.

Use to be like you...then I found the glory that some hold. Now I do not really like little applications (but I will still use them if I need them), but I still like Mozilla and whatnot, even though they are 3rd party. It is a well known and well respected Browser.

Konqueror, links (or sometimes lynx) on my home system, konqueror and w3m from university. (I hate w3m  it unites the disadvantages of Lynx, Mozilla and Konqueror but carefully avoids all advantages)
