There was a very good prayer at the opening of some state congress in America, it relates to this so I'll have to find it.

There were things like: -

Forgive us for we have sinned,

We pay people for not working and call it welfare,
We murder the unborn and call it choice,
We murder abortion doctors and call it justice.

Abortion isn't murder. And euthenasia is, where offered, volutary. Additionally most people who choose doctor assisted suicide have debilitating, painful, terminal illnesses and wish to die with dignity instead of covered in their own filth, unable to move, too doped up to recognize their family. The current method that doctor's use is simply ceasing treatment on a patient's request which might take days or weeks to finally free them from suffering.

There is no forced dependance. Obviously if you can afford to pay for yourself you will. The government acts as a safety net for those who can't find opportunities. Confiscate wealth? Well it was already stolen once...
As for affirmative action, there's plenty of progressives who oppose it, like this guy here. *points to himself*

No one is taking away your right to practise religion in public, they just don't want it to be tied into the state.

There's a difference between cooperating with the UN and allowing them to rule the country, most liberals want the first, most conservatives claim we want the second.

Actually that would be the conservatives who want that, because they make more profits that way. How many liberals own oil companies?

Yeah, that is a shame. Perhaps there should be a way fathers can waive their rights to visitation and then not have to pay child support? Just an idea...
