Well, my last name is Murphy, so guess what I picked.
Also, I don't think guiness is actually Irish, although, it is really popular over there.
I'd have to say the best thing to come out of Ireland is Shaquille O'Neil.

I'd say Scotland, me being part Scottish, but in the poll I'd say Ireland because I am also part Irish.

The Welsh! Here's why:
*cool language that looks like someone was on acid when they invented it
*beautiful scenery
*lovely accent
*John Cale
*it's not a Catholic country (I'm an embittered ex-Catholic)
*they sing a lot
*I like Welshmen, tis one of my fetishes

Put it this way, how often do you hear stories about sheep being molested in Ireland?
Then look at the Welsh numbers. Sick people, those Welsh....

Reasons to choose the Irish:
1. The language is kinder to the ear than Welsh
2. The language is kinder to the eye than Welsh
3. Only Scottish Folk comes close to the quality of the Irish stuff in the British isles.
4. Generally friendly culture.
5. Sexy accent
Reasons not to choose the Welsh:
1. Their language sounds ugly.
2. Their language looks ugly.
3. Their folk music is godawful.
4. Generally isolationist and grumpy culture.
5. Painful accent (Especially North Walian.)

The North Walian accent soft, sleek and very sexy I'll have you know.
Ti ond dweyd pethau drwg am y Cymraeg achos ti ddim galli siarad o.
It's the South Walian's you got to watch out for, especially the one's from the valley's

Nah mate, it's wet and tortured. Incidently (no offence, by the way, i'm not beign funny) my brother, my best mate and i have all seperately experienced a moment where for a second we couldn't tell if a speaker was conversing in Welsh or was mentally challenged.

Mewn gwirionoeed, dw i'n gofyn llawer o Gymraeg. Dw i'n 'dweud' pethau drwg' am Cymraeg achos dw i wedi goddef hi am amser gormod.
The Welsh language is feminine.

I haven't met many of them, come to think of it. At least their accent borders on humorous though.
