I am sure the same could be said for Hitler....Yeah, but he was ficked in the head mentally. Must have gotten dropped on his head. And he did intend to harm all Jews (more than Reagan communists). But by no means is Reagan evil. Sadly, we don't have a Reagan to vote for. Now we have two choices - Either Bush or Kerry. Both stand for little; all they want is votes. They tip toe around the two greatest issues of the 21st century - Gay Marrage and Immigration, and nether want to do anything about them. They are both pansies, and there is no one to vote for.

Reagan did something different that these other people dont - He stood for something. That's why he was elected by the American people twice.

I wouldn't. If there were any reason to celebrate Hitler's death it was because it meant the end of the war. I feel sorry for such a miserable man has he, and the very fact that he felt the need to conquer the world is saddening. His death, however beneficial to the Allies, was nonetheless the end result of a life lacking in confidence and a sense of self-worth.

I'd like to offer some advice here... Don't expect a better eulogy at your funeral that what you give your enemies when they die. I was born in Poland, and for all of those who say he didn't help make the fall of Soviet Union become a reality, then you are dillusional. It is true that by the 1980's, internal KGB reports pointed to a major collapse within decades. At the time Andropov had commissioned an internal report on the state of the Soviet Union that suggested another "Great purge", in other words, a second phase of purges and restructuring styled after Stalin's takeover in 1928. Andropov died and his plans were never accomplished and in the end Gorbachev took over (One of Kruschnev (sp?) disciples). Gorbachev was, in my opinion, naive much like Carter and put the trust in the wrong people. Gorbachev's noobness in the end led to the collapse of the Soviet Union when his good buddy Yeltsin backstabbed him. Reagan forced the Soviet Bureaucracy and political elites to concentrate on the military and the U.S. instead of the rife internal problems.

Comparing Reagan to someone like Stalin, Hitler or Saddam is stupid to say the least. Stalin organised work camps and sent millions to their deaths. Hitler did alot of the same with his attempts at exterminating the Jews, the Slavs, and Russian POW's on the eastern front. Saddam did more of the same. I fail to see where Reagan sits amongst this bunch.

Reagan was popular amongst Americans, and no doubt popular in many Eastern European states with his "Evil Empire" comments.
