Parents holding dinner parties

Ugh. This evening my parents held another one of their stupid dinner parties. It basically involved my parents and the guests (Two couples) talking about boring things and asking me stupid questions such as wether I'm liking school. It also means that I have to dress really smartly and behave myself perfectly. My dad gave me a big lecture beforehand giving me certain rules such as 'speak when you're spoken to'. It also meant that whenever the coversation got on to anything in the slightest bit political my dad always gave me stern looks as if to say 'don't even think about voicing an opinion' as I stayed quiet like a good boy as the idiot guests spouted off their usual fascist views.

Damn, I'm glad that's over. Don't you just hate it when you're in these sort of occasions and it feels like you're treading on eggshells?

To bad that wasn't me... I would of had some fun... When my dad tries to do that to me I just speak my mind and tell him if he wants to fight I will have no problem running to my room grabbing my knife and gutting him like a pig.

I had similar experiences occasionally. I tended to notice a pattern in their 'facist' views I researched them, just so I could contradict them.

btw the arguement was worth the punishment.
