Please just tell me this isn't some joke. Don't kill what little joy I am able to take out of life. If this is true, it will be the first smile in days...

This is the second time I've heard about it, I think it's true.

Brit Hume said it best.

"In music news today, the band Creed broke up." *crickets* "I said creed broke up!" *Crickets get louder*

"Yes, the band which gave us such hits as Higher, and.... Higher, has parted ways... but 3/4 othe band plans to start their own band without the lead singer... but who cares"

Ahh yes, the other demographic that only gets their new music from the radio.

Hopefully Nickleback, Three Doors Down, Default, Three Days Grace, Puddle of Mudd and all those other bands follow suit. :)

I saw that lead singer dude be a total weenie on Celebrity Poker Showdown (what are you looking at?......alright, I like watching poker and I don't care who's playing or if they're any good...besides, David Cross was on it...)

What a complete tool....he was the first knocked out (or at least one of the first, it was a while ago.)

Is this the last of the Pearl Jam sound bands, are we free of thier kind now, no more singers singing from the back of their throats? Please? (not that anything current is all that better in the mass spectrum, but...)

Yes all of the bands you mentioned are awful. They are not guitar driven bands like every other good rock band in history. You can't really hear the riffs because they are so indistinguishable. Although, Creed's first album did have some decent songs and let's not forget the forgotten single from their latest release "Weathered." The song was called bullets and it was their second single. It was a straight up metal song that was clearly influenced by their guitarist, who never really went in for Scott Stapp's blatant preaching. Anyway the record industry is only influenced by 11-13 year old girls. Who else buys this shit?

Various dictators make a LOT more money than you. So you're basically saying that they are better people than you because you're more of a "loser", even though you don't have your minions hack limbs off children with a machete? Loser.

A bank balance is a really crappy way to keep score.

Alright, that's it. I'm comin over to hang out with you and listen to tunes. I'll bring the Faith No More.

Oh yea, the Creed thing. I did a happy dance when I read that. Scott Stapp should not be allowed within a mile of a recording studio.
