Both are vulgar, insane on stage, and a reputation for weirdness. However, AC/DC is more of a rocker, while the Kennedys stick with acid political commentary. I prefer kennedys, personally.

That ones too tough for me to decide. I think i'll go with Dead Kenedys.

Dead Kennedys are so much better, no contest.
AC/DC only have one song, done 50 different ways.

I love both bands. However, I had to go with AC/DC. The reason is that they have been consistently good throughout the years and have even weathered changing vocalists at the height of their popularity. Also, they do know how to write coherent songs under all the sex and partying. They are still awesome in concert to this day.
Dead Kennedys were good up until the "Frankenchrist" album. They were already starting to let the politics overcome the actual music on "Plastic Surgery Disasters", but by "Frankenchrist" there was practically no song structure left except in songs like "MTV Get Off the Air" or "Soup Is Good Food". "Bedtime for Democracy" was even worse. Problem is, the group got boring, and listening to Jello Biafra's spoken word albums at the time was much more interesting. All the petty bickering between the former band members over the last few years hasn't really improved things, nor was there any need for a reunion tour.
