SAT II - has anyone else taken them?

Because if you have, I'm in need of some dire help...you see, I don't exactly attend the best of schools...so after I had registered for the June 5th (TOMORROW!) SAT II Biology test, I figured out...wow! How utterly deficient my school's biology program was!

I did have study guides...but only so much information can be digested in such a short space of time, as everything almost was...new.

Now, I know that if I take the test tomorrow, I will do a less than stellar performance (the stellar bar being ... oh, 730 or so). Probably fairly significantly less...however, I'm informed that SAT II subject tests can be changed on test day at the test center...am looking for confirmation.

I am considering changing it to one of two things, Math IIC - which I had planned to take October of my junior year. (The reason being well...even though I am finishing up Calculus right now, I had a *severely* poor precalculus class)...or Latin. I'm currently taking Latin II, having just started lesson one of the Jenny's Second Year Latin (1990) book...so for those of you who have taken Latin and/or the Latin SAT IIs...would you say I'm ready?

Thanks...

Yeah you can change it to anything you want on test day. They give you a huge booklet and you pick and choose. Only thing is, if you do writing, they make you take it first.

The SAT II's, and heck most of the big standardized tests are fairly easy for a lot of the subjects, including AP and just the plain SATs. Of course if you have a tough time or are taking a tough course, it'll be harder.

I found the Biology test to be very easy, although if your teachers bad it would probably be hard. I also thought Ecology was much easier than Molecularbiology.

Latin might be a bit of (it is) a reach right now, considering your only on Jenny's 2nd year Latin lesson one. Math would be doable, as some people take it after Math Analysis (BC) / Pre-Calc, and your in calc.

What I find is that the biggest source of error, for me at least, was not forgetting the material but making stupid mistakes and not double checking to make sure I cleaned up all those mistakes.

That's molecular biology not microbiology. (I liked it better than ecological actually)

And if you want more advice Zoogie from people who are taking the SAT like you go to www.collegeconfidential.com and search the discussion boards. There's one on SAT/ACT preparation, and I guarantee that one is on your subject.
