I am clueless as to the credibility of capitolhillbue.com (http://www.capitolhillblue.com/artman/publish/printer_4636.shtml) but I'm certain someone will tell me it's all anti-bush crap they produce, and as such everything they say can be disregarded without second thought, as the Bush-Fanatic seems to be accustomed to do.

Although I wouldn't doubt it for a minute.. I have to say, no one else is reporting on this that I could find on a quick search and I also looked up the author to see if I could find other stuff by him and or about him from another source.. no such luck.. I find it a bit suspect.. in the credibility department any way.

Credible?

Hell - it's a site that will publish YOUR "news story" if you email it to them and they like what you write.

I think that pretty much sums it up from the perspective of it's credibility.

Of course, my first clue was reading the whole article and noting that it was based entirely on unsourced quotes by "unnamed whitehouse aides"...

Actually, Capitol Hill Blue is one of the oldest independent Internet news providers on the net, tracing it's roots back to 1994. They are fairly good about being objective and print an equal number of stories critisizing everyone.

The President's abrupt dismissal of CIA Directory George Tenet Wednesday night is, aides say, an example of how he works.

Whaaaaaaat? That is all liberal proaganda. George Tenet resigned himself, he was not dismissed. God, these people make me sick.

Oh, you know this for fact? You were in the Oval Office I guess and know what went down? The fact that another high level CIA dude is also resigning today doesn't make you think it's a bit fishy? I think there is a lot more to this story then we have heard. It just doesn't make sense otherwise. I'm sure the truth or some of it will come out, it usually does..

Well Bush's decision to "accept" Tenet's resignation now, that he wanted to give two years ago, is a bit suspect. Also with the second highest CIA official leaving and the head of the FBI making a mad power grab. Particularly considering that Bush recently met with lawyers concerning the CIA operative scandal.

Yeah, there is a multitude of reasons it could of been, or perhaps all of them...Perhaps Tenet wore out his usefulness.. Bush was going to require a fall guy before the election.. The whole Ahmed Chalabi angle is pretty interesting as well.

Not everything is a conspiracy theory.

Or, maybe the President is willing to let a person move on with their life.

Not everything is a conspiracy theory.

And not every "voluntary resignation" is either "voluntary" or a "resignation." Time will tell what this one was, but given the current situation, it is at the very least highly suspect.
