There are always more turds than objets d'art in any film season, but there seems to be an unusual number of films that just scream "I suck! Don't waste your money on me!" coming out this summer. So take the poll or add your own--the list is far too long to be stuck on one of these polls, and I'm even sticking a film I think will be good on the list, because I know others disagree with me (Guess which one).

One last request--no movies that have already come out. I don't want to see the thread swamped with discussion of how The Day After Tomorrow sucked ass. Thanks.

Riddick looks like it's gonna be so-so at best.

I, Robot is one I'm hoping they didn't maim beyond all recognition (Asimov = good), but almost certain they did. :cry:

Other then that I can't remember any signs/previews specifically that I hated, although I remember reallllly thinking .. some ... comedy ... possibly .. one of those cheesy ones ... that I saw a preview for was going to be awful.

I think I, Robot looks interesting, not the story line, but just to see how many of the things that happen in that movie were taken from other movies, to me it kind of looks like Minority Report meets Bad Boys II. You know, futuristic with the same graphics engine as Minority Report and they Will Smith on all look of Bad Boys II.

I'm really dreading the remake of the Manchurian Candidate, mainly because it was such a brilliant film the first time around. It's like trying to repaint the Mona Lisa. Why do it? If you haven't seen the original, watch it. Frank Sinatra is brilliant, and Angela Lansbury (yes, that Angela Lansbury) is perhaps the evillest woman ever on screen.

Wow--You Got Served is running away with the contest thus far, and I only saw it at the last minute and threw it on there for the hell of it. I was going to put Catwoman on there, but it wouldn't fit in the poll.

All of those movies seem like there going to suck balls. So lets see The Manchurian Candidate is probably about a bunch of tools bitching about their lives. Fahrenheit 9/11 is probably about a whiny fat ass bitching about any thing under the sun which sounds very boring. The Chronicles of Riddick is probably a sci-fi action flick which always sucks and probably the audiance will consist of a bunch of 4 eyed glasses wearing datless teche-sexual pizza faced carrear masturbators who would not know a good flick from Kangroo Jack which I felt was terrorist run to effect our movie theaters because as president Bush said if we don't go about our daily lives the terrorist win so maybe Hamas or Islamic Jihad watch Bush make a asshole out of himself on TV and said that is wehat were going to do we will produce a flick so bad it will scare movie gowers forever. Anyways I, Robot seems like a flick I would rather cut my balls of with a rusty knife then watch. However You Got Served: Take It To the Streets sounds like the most god awful flick around so I will vote for it. However if you question my choice I say it about a bunch a fags who dance around and go up to people and like dumbasses say you got served like anyone gives a rats ass. Also they look like Bozo the clown in the rediculos clothing and baggy pants. Also I bet it has a bunch of candyass wiggars in it to. I think that was also a terrorist attacks to scare people from the movie theaters by making them think that all movies will be like that piece of crap. I rather see mean girls then that cheap crap with its shoddy acting.

i agree that you got served looks like it will suck some major @$$, but thats what happens when idiots make movies. the problem with todays movies is that they are all about special effects, in which I,Robot should kick @$$, but thats about all. too many movies concentrate on special effects instead of a story. i remember when sci fi didn't suck, and i hope we can go back to those times.
