OK, my girlfriend is sad and depressed because she doesnt think she looks pretty. She's not over weight and she doesnt have a bad complexsion at all. I try to tell her she is the most beautiful person i have ever known, but she just agrees and says "thanks". She really doesnt believe me though. No matter what i say!!! PLease, is there anything i can do for her to convince her how pretty she is?

She could be upset about something else and is using that as a pretext to get your attention. So try asking her what's up. Just don't make it sound like a "what's your problem?" question, that can get nasty.

You have a bit of a dilemma. If you tell her that she's the most beautiful person you've ever known, you're probably lying, and she knows it. But if you tell her that there are other people prettier than her, but that she's still not bad--well, you're treading on thin ice there. Maybe you could give her confirmation from other people ("My friends X, Y, and Z think you're pretty"), but maybe even that wouldn't be enough.

She wants attention from you..she wants you to show your desire for her..

"Become the tiger"......."hunt your prey"...

Girls usually don't think they are pretty and nothing you or any guy can do will change that. I agree with TG, it might be something else that is bothering her but she does not know how to tell you. I don't think you should tell her about other guys that think she is hot, that could make her mad, it always pisses me off when guys say that. I also agree with BackwoodsSquatches she might need some sexual reassurance that you really do like her body, since most girls never know what other girls look like they sometimes feel like they could be different and that they are worse. If she knows you have ever done stuff with other girls she could feel inadequate to them.

Do what Homer did with Lisa. Sell your Duff Blimp Ride ticket so you can enter your gilfriend in a beauty contest so show her she's got the goods to compete!

Take my advice and ignore both of them.

Take her out on a shopping trip. Buy her some nice shoes and a dress and then take her out to the best restuarant....your credit card may take a bashing though.

Well....girls normally like it if you buy them something really expensive...my girlfriend does.

And plus, you can use it to tell her how wonderful she looks in these new clothes etc.
