NPR has a right-wing bias? Please, NPR is left to everything but North Korean state radio.

I don't think that image (which is propaganda in itself) is saying that the mentioned news agencies are right-wing (or left-wing for that matter). I think it's pointing out that any mass public news agency is going to be subject to governmental pressure to propagandise.

...The outright extremism in that statement made me shudder involuntarily. Knowing it was not a joke, knowing you made that comment seriously, I felt it eroding my faith in the US.

I question your command of the situation; you do not seem to be aware of all of the facts. NPR is often compared with the BBC in tone; hardly making it a terribly 'biased' news source. Are you concenred that it doesn't tow the 'correct' party line of pre-approved talking points? Are you worred that there are no personalities on the air that amuse you with their vitriolic statements? Could it be that honest debate with FACTS being the centerpiece as opposed to empty rhetoric somehow leaves you at a loss?

What's the problem with hippies? Did they ever hurt you?

Anyway, North Korea isn't communist. It's a horrible fascist dictatorship. If that corrupt government wants equality then I'm the fucking pope. Unless they want all their subjects to be equal: poor, hungry, brainwashed and loyal. But this isn't true communism.

How bout you filthy patriotic americans attack North Korea, that has real WMDs and where most of the people are starving and don't have a hint of freedom of speech and very little freedom of thought (they are constantly brainwashed with propaganda)?
North Korea doesn't have oil so this time you wouldn't be accused of waging war for oil, you greedy bastards.

Portugal. Come on.

I can see by your few posts in this thread what kind of person you are. I pitty you. Open your eyes.

By the way, looking at that political compass site and taking the test, let me guess what you voted:

If economic globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations - Strongly disagree

I'd always support my country, whether it was right or wrong. - Strongly agree

No one chooses their country of birth, so it's foolish to be proud of it. - Strongly disagree

Our race has many superior qualities, compared to other races. - Agree

The enemy of my enemy is my friend. - Agree

Military action that defies international law is sometimes justified. - Strongly agree

The growing fusion between information and entertainment is a worrying contribution to the public's shrinking attention span. - Disagree

etc...

I am curious as to how 'propaganda' is automatically equated with right-wing extremism though?
