I'm only 14 and I remember pogs. I have this one rad slamer that is, like, metal and it's black and in silver it has a picture of Death.

I remember pogs, dude! I was like 5, and i had like 5000 of them and like 20 slammers. Holy shit, I remember listening to NWA and other underground rap, while me an my friends would play pogs. And I remember once, quite vividelly, we were playing, and I won, and we were playing for keepers, and we were listening to Vanilla Ice, and the kid got pissed because I won, and I got his favorite pog, so he picked up my slammer, which must have weighed half a pound, and jsut hucked it right at me, and it hit me in the eye, and almost popped my eye out. Shit that was funny. I would have given him his fucking pog back, but he almost took out my eye, so I ate it. HAHAHAHA! Those were the days. I remember my favorite pog have a salamander on it, not a drawing, it was an actual picture of an Eastern Long-Toed Salamander. It was sweeet. We swore alot back then too. I blame the E-Z-E or however it's spelled

I remember them. I never got any.

Pogs had literally the fastest flare up and burn out as a trend at my old job (buyer for a record store). I took my birthday off, a rep came in and distributed pogs to promote some band and the entire store was captivated, throwing down in the aisles, people go out on thier breaks to the card shop to get more pogs and fancy slammers, the whole nine. The VERY next day, nothing. Gone, no one cared. I kept waiting for a one hour trend, but it never happened.

I had a tube of those when I was in fourth grade or something.

The things that I used to like when I was a kid...

I didn't realise that pogs were so well spread across the cultures...

I had a tin full of pogs, but some kid stole them, then I was pogless. Then I cried, then Lisa cried. then Maggie laughed. She's such a little trooper!
