I think we both know his reasons.... He does not like independent meanings. He showed in debates with Steph, SMW, Catholic Europe and even Womblingdon (he was anti semite and SMW analysed it and explained it why he is..., just read the posts).

Letila, you're right on the money tonight, and I agree with your comments whole-heartedly.

I don't know if you'd call this treason in the legal sense of the word or not, but it comes damn close for me--the outing of Valerie Plame as an agent of the CIA.

There was no indication that Bush is a target of the grand jury investigation, but the president has decided that in the event he needs an attorney’s advice, “he would retain him,” said Claire Buchan, a spokeswoman for the White House.

That's significant in my opinion. I'm not accusing the President of treason or anything, so hold on to your flames. But it is significant that the President of the US may be called as a witness in a case of this magnitude, and it certainly calls into question his determination to get to the bottom of this like he said he would when the case broke last year.
