No, didn't think so either...

California counts?

Nah, the 5th largest economy of the world never matters.

I've only been to AZ twice in my whole life, though. To visit that suguaro national park (sp?) and to go to um that one suberb of um that one city... Scottsdale, I think.

i used to live on the phoenix side of the phoenix/glendale border

i love the arizona desert climate but i just hate all the suburban sprawl

now i live in the seattle area, i sure do miss the warm and dry weather, once i save up enough ill buy myself a nice house somewhere in the desert though :)

I used to live in Prescott. I hated it, there was no one who shared my views in politics. The district 1 elections, in 2002 were a pain in the ass.

My mother lives in Tempe and my brother lives in Chandler. The Valley is a wonderful place to spend a week in December or January, especially if you play golf and especially if you live in Minnesota. But past that, the place is hell on earth. The ugliest, most inhospitable location I have ever been. It's bloody awful...

Guess who doesn't live in Arizona?

Me!
I do, however, live in a craptastic little hick town. So there.

Rosy! How you doing? I live in a little hick town too, but that's why I moved there. That and the lake front property, of course. Hated the suburbs. Had to get rural...

Arizona sucks.

Hey Vex, been a while.
I hate it here...someday I'll get out and actually move to a city where there is SOMETHING to do.

Rosy, I feel the same way...but in reverse. Moving rural gave me the opportunity to go fishing or mow grass pretty much everyday. Seems that's all I do for fun...

I'm in Tempe.

I wouldn't say the place is ugly, but the hell on earth part is correct for most of the year. It gets even worse everytime California has a quake and few more of them shake our way.

I don't live in Arizona, but I do live in a horrid incarnation of suburbia.

Texas is so much better then Arizona, still in the south but less hot and more grass.

Texas. . . .not for liberals. And Arizona is another incarnation of the wonderful idea of suburban sprawl.

texas isnt better than OHIO let alone arizona! ive lived in new mexico for 10 years and have never yet said "lets go over to texas to see...." . i have driven over to arizona many times, it has some fabulous natural sites that are worth seeing. my most recent trip was to the canyon de chelly. i highly recommend it to anyone interested in southest indian archeology and culture.

new mexico is better than both texas and arizona.
arizona is nice but its just too hot in the summer. we dont hardly ever get over 105, arizona has many many days that go over 115

but y'all get palm trees, i do envy you that.

Me - Living in Scottsdale.I am. Living in Peoria, might I add. And I hate every moment of summer. Too bloody hot. I'd prefer Sedona or Prescott or Flagstaff.. hell Flagstaff gets snow in the winter, that's nice. Especially as how I've never seen a snowfall before...

Wow, I am honored. This topic was started on June 1st, my birthday! It was just (if the time is Arizona time) 3 hours and 59 minutes off my birth in Mesa, Arizona. The best place on whatever this planet we live on is now known as! :)
