ROUND 1 BRACKET 2 (Legends of Metal)

Okay here's how the voting goes. Since the polls can easily be manipulated this is the voting system we will use:

If you post your vote with a nation of 75 posts or more, that vote counts as two. The poll votes count as 1. Technically your vote can be counted as three votes, if you vote both in the poll and post what you voted for.

However, even with this system in place this entire poll can be easily manipulated. So I ask you, please don't... Let's not cheat shall we?

Also, I'd like arguements from both sides on why that particular band (in this case, either Iron Maiden or Black Sabbath) should win. So please feel free to post long paragraphs regarding the merits of either Iron Maiden or Black Sabbath.

Dance of Death is great...

Sabbath - helped carve and invent metal and rock as we know it today. Great guitar, great bass, great drums, great lyrics - no contest.

What other 1 on 1 have we had so far? Was it just...Zeppelin and the Clash (I think it was) or have there been others that I missed?

Sabbath are the grandfathers of metal, but for some reason I just don't like them that much. Maiden, however, are among my top ten bands, so I vote for them :wink:

Black Sabbath is awesome, but so is Iron Maiden. And Iron Maiden is more consistently good.

Amerigo, do you know how stupid of a rule that is? Votes from countries with 75 posts or more count as 2 votes? Since Iron Maiden won with that rule, doesn't that mean that more PEOPLE voted Sabbath?
