Think about it. Arcturus mengsk and the terrorist group Sons of korhal were working against the terran confederacy(which was founded by outcasts from the home country). The sons of korhal got support from many people from outcast planets, etc. They didnt particularly like the other two races either, but they were working against the terrans. They were able to steal the psionic emmiter from the terrans, and get it into a main terran city, where it was very damaged. The item wasnt meant to damage the terrans, but was used against them by the terrorists.

See any connections to 9/11?

By god your right! I could of sworn those weren't airliners that crashed into the World Trade Center, but were actually battlecruisers!

There is also a theory that al-Qaeda was partly based on Asimov's Foundation.

al-Qaeda = the Base = Foundation?

Taking on a crumbling and decandent Galactic Empire, and remaking it into a new world, under the guidance of a dead visionary?

Heh, you can read anything into anything.

The Psi Emmiters didn't do the damage themselves, they called the zerg in to do it. Also, the zerg destroyed alot more than 2 supply depots. :-p

Speaking of Starcraft, did anyone else notice how the human soldiers with the flamethrowers sounded really gay?

Gay as in homosexual or gay as in (I hope not) stupid?

Homosexual. It was the way they said "Let's turn up the heat..." and "You've got my attention..." - so camp.

I played the game. I don't think the creators of Starcraft intended for the Firebats to say anything uh...sex related. Although I do remember Sarah Kerrigan saying some really dirty stuff.

the events of that day, as well as all the other instances of terrorism should not be disgraced by your cheap rhetoric

If anyone is a CNC player, they'd know the similarities between RAII and real life are quite large, much more noticeable than StarCraft as well.

Terrorist attacks on the Statue of Liberty, WTC, then the Pentagon, all carried out by men with middle eastern accents...

I was actually playing Tiberian Sun when the first plane hit the WTC....
