I personally like the Beatles better, i have never been a Rolling Stones fan, but i think they are both extremely talented and they both changed the face of music forever.

I like them both but the Beatles have more songs that I like.

I'm more for the Beatles. I've yet to have a chance to really get into the Rolling Stones

I'd be more willing to consider the Rolling Stones if they had just stopped pretending to be a band somewhere around 1980. Everything they've done in the last 24 years has been pure dogshit.

And I'll never forgive them for suing the Verve over that sample from "Bittersweet Memory" that they didn't even freaking perform on.

So yes--that's a vote for the Beatles.

The first and last test is good one here. Listen to the fist and last albums for each ban and rate the growth and exploration of each. Are they still listenable? Has the band sufficiently explored, grown?

Beatles win in a walk.

The Beatles: easily the greatest rock and roll band of all time.

Fabulous and diverse musical styles, from R&B covers to psychadelic to blues to pop to rock and roll to avante guarde and so much more. No band has been more influential. It continues as we speak.

And I enjoy The Stones as well. Sympathy for the Devil...doesn't get much better than that.

Sympathy for the Devil is good, but Honky Tonk Women is better.

I give them both two big thumbs up.

I like them both too.
