Good job, Arizona. Weird Al was the coolest concert ever. I go for the Jamaican music myself: ska, rocksteady, roots, dub, dancehall. Also enjoy techno, industrial, or any synth-driven music. And blues. Can't forget the blues.

Is THAT was passes for music nowadays?

My favorite bands- Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bad Company, Credence Clearwater Revival, John Fogerty, Bob Seger, Charlie Daniels, Hank Williams Jr., Merle Haggard, Alan Jackson, Clint Black, Tracy Byrd, Travis Tritt, Toby Keith, Josh Turner, Montgomery Gentry, Soggy Bottom Boys (O' Brother Where Art Thou?) are all at the top of the list.
I mostly like old Southern Rock (Skynyrd, Bad Company) and old-style modern country (Jackson, Tritt). I STRONGLY DISLIKE [hate] punk rock, heavy metal, rap, any of the junk like Black Sabbath, or Korn. I can also listen to old country gospel when I'm in a reflective mood. I love bluegrass too (Man of Constant Sorrow!!!).

Oh my God....

I love bluegrass too (Man of Constant Sorrow!!!).

awsome man but what about hendrix and led zeppelin or the beatles

I've heard they were good, but never really had the chance to listen to them. From what I've heard of the Beatles, don't really care for them, but I'll have to get a Hendrix or Zeppelin CD sometime...

Damn right, Black Sabbath rules! Have to say my favourite songs by them are Paranoid and Iron Man. I also like:

Nirvana
Godsmack
American Headcharge
Pearl Jam
Pantera
Greenday
Rob Zombie
Korn (Saw them and RZ in concert and it was awesome.)
Primer 55
Lost Prophets etc...

Basically any rock bands/alternative/heavy metal. Can't stand "wuss rock" like Nickelback, Default, Staind they all sound the same - weepy, whiny, just like country.

Ska is my fave, though i also love to dabble into punk. My favourite bands are:

Ska-p (best band ever)
Against me
Against All Authority
Mighty Mighty Bosstones
Leftover Crack
Choking Victim
Dropkick Murphys
Suicide Machines
King Prawn
Zen Baseballbat
The Filaments
Oi Polloi
Black Flag
Dead Kennedys
Uk Subs
The Pietasters
Operation Ivy
Minor Threat

So basically, punk, oi, ska, that kinda thang! I prefer political music to emotional music cus emo is possibly the worst pervesion of punk in the world. Ever. Even worse than good charlotte.

It's funny that you insult emo when Ian McKaye is pretty much the godfather of it, along with Guy Piccalo.

Check out Embrace and Fugazi and Rites of Spring.
