I thought pretty much all fascists were racist or at least nationalistic, though I know that many racists aren't fascist, at least not openly.

A racist believes in the inherent superiority of one or more races above other races.

Fascism is basically a rejection of progressive post-Enlightenment thought in favour of a rigidly structured state which is more important than any one individual that may belong to it.

Despite the frequency of racism going hand in hand with fascism, there is nothing inherent in the ideology of fascism that demands a racist outlook.

Obligatory:Nazis/racism sucks, etc etc.

That being said, the thought of this amuses me:

..Actually, to be perfectly honest, for some reason I feel.. odd when talking to a colored person. Sometimes more hostile then I should.

It's not my fault though, I do try to control it, and I never let it show. I don't judge people based on skin color.. At least not consciously.

That would be a "this guy's different" feeling. I wouldn't worry about it, you'd see a simillar reaction talking to someone who looked very different because of some other feature, once you get to know them it melts away.

As for the acronyms, I kept trying to fit them to computer terms. :?

Yeah - I think you are right. A case of my fingers operating faster than my brain.

I do not like Nazis at all, though equating them with conservatives similarly makes me mad. It's like saying "all liberals are brainless tree-huggers," because there happen to be extremist environmentalists within the ideological spectrum (Note: I don't think ALL environmentalists are extremeists either, mind you...).
I don't really notice race when talking to someone unless I've heard something about race recently. All should be judged by the content of their character, not by the color of their skin.
