This is in response to the thread cuneo made where he supposedly came clean about all the bullshit he was feeding us. Now i realize that i made another thread titled,"do you belive anything cuneo island says?". that was eventually locked and i got a slew of tg's from him and someone else in his region. but thats besides the point; what is he hoping to accompish by supposedly coming clean? wouldnt it be better to just start a new nation? well? thoughts please

Eh, who knows with that guy. I think even if he made a new nation, he would have to do a 180 of some kind or people will recognize the "So, how hot are you?" a mile away.

I still think he's a teenager, because a 26 year old with a 'hot' gf who is well off probably wouldn't come on a forum like NS and make up crap like that. When I read what he types it just feels like I'm reading something a teenager wrote.

I have to say I agree with that. I used to get along with him, but I always sensed an edge of immaturity. Besides, if he really is so well off, why would he boast about it? Is his self-esteem that poor that he needs to show off to complete strangers he will never meet?

We all have our particular talents and skills, but that doesn't mean we praise them or bring them up in EVERY conversation.

He can't call it quits. It is a classic, futile damage control exercise conducted by someone who does not realise he has lost. He could have come clean and salvaged some dignity, but by only going halfway, he has probably only made it worse for himself. The lesson we should have all learnt early in our childhood is, when you're caught, do the honourable thing, don't make yourself look like a fool when everyone already has a good picture of the truth.

I'm not sure what to think. I know of no 26 year olds that join a forum to brag about having a hot girlfriend, a wildly successful job, and a bunch of homes, though.

most 26 year olds wouldn't poke General forum with a 10-foot pole, and if they do it's probably a sign of mind-numbing boredom.

i find it hard to believe that anybody who has enough time to have a job that makes them "well-off", if they had time for this at all, would be coming up on 5000 posts. but then, i'm still in the Neolithic Era with my zero-kbps dial-up connection, and it takes bloody long to do anything at all.

that, of course, raises a new question: why am i here? in answer, i do the forums because it gives me an excellent venue to observe some general behavioral aspects of teens, with whom i specialize.
