Plot to plant WMDs in Iraq?

I may not be supposed to put two linker articles up, but I ran across this and was more fascinated than when I heard someone claim that Kodak had determined that the digital fingerprint of the camera that taped the Iraqi prison abuse matched the digital fingerprint of the camera used to film the execution of Nick Berg.
Apparently, a former Department of Defence staffer, a top debriefer and the second in command in the DoD's special intelligence office, has put forward an assertation that there was a covert military operation funded through the Department of Agriculture which took place both before hostilities began in Iraq and during the initial fighting, where secret ops teams snuck in and planted WMDs. Thus, the current administration was "sure" they would find them. Unfortunately, the entire 100 man team was wasted by "friendly fire," so not only could they not plant the WMDs but they also couldn't locate Saddam's secret treasure stores.
Yes, I know. If I post to many more of these conspiracy theories, I'm going to be in serious danger of become TRA Part II. This one is interesting, though. Not saying I believe it, just that it hangs together nicely.

Yeah man, look at your source, and look at the refrences and style of speech that these DoD guys are supposedly using. I would put this in the "extremely unlikely" catagory. While I fully expected planted evidence in this war and was actually quite pleasantly surprised when it didn't turn up, I think this in no way shows proof or even likelyhood of such things.

to what end?
Abu Grahib: pisses off americans, pisses of Al Qaeda, pisses off insurgents.
Nick Berg: Cheered by insurgents, proves al qaeda existance, pisses off conservative americans, pisses off liberals...
to what end?

See.....this is why Bush is a damn fool.
If I were President....there would be no question about if there were any WMD's....becuase we would have already found them..and I would have already been reaping the accolades of the free world.
How you ask?
Beucase I would have put them there my damn self if needed.
Nick Berg: proves al qaeda existance
No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No. No.
It proves only that al-Qa'ida insurgents have entered Iraq due to the occupation. There was no links between Iraq and al-Qa'ida before the invasion.

A) No one questions whether or not Al Qaeda's existance
B) No one know who in fact killed Nick Berg
C) There were no ties between Saddam and International terrorists..

if it does Salishe.....then Bush's connection to the House Saud counts too.
As does his connections to the Bin Ladens.
Business is business....

Any discovery of WMDs at this late stage would be disbelieved anyway so I don't think the US would bother. To the extent that if they did find them they might be smarter keeping quiet about it as they have absolutely no creditability left. I would refer you to the parable of the Little Boy Who Cried Wolf!
For this play the part of the the Little Boy will be played by Bush.
Iraq has Nukes and poison gas and other nasty stuff that he will aim at the US and Uk with his secret inter-continental ballastic missiles!!
(No WMDs and no capability to get anywhere near the UK let alone the US)
Iraq supports Al Queda and is funding Osama!
(In actual fact there was no such links until the US invaded and started gunning down Iraqi civilians)
Americans would bring democracy and end torture in Iraq!
(No democracy just a US Colonial Governor and the torture pictures speak for themselves)

Not really and here's why.. The Palestinians's were no threat to America.. thus nooks Bush's argument that Saddam was ever a threat to America.. He wasn't.. and to be perfectly honest.. I don't see Arab countries support of Palestine as any different then America's support of Israel..
Palestinians, never did a damn thing to America.. Bush never said "We're taking Saddam out to protect Israel" now did he? No. ... he lied and tried to make people believe that Saddam was some how a threat to America, which he wasn't and never was.
The Israeli/Palestine conflict is one of a civil war more or less.. it doesn't move outside it's borders.. There is a huge difference.
Let's not forget it was Al Qaeda that attacked America, and Al Qaeda doesn't operate in Israel.
