A dream I once had:
It starts with everyone (friends and my extended family) at some big get together and we've rented a convention center or something like that. It's a lot of people so we need a lot of space. A bunch of people are preparing food and a bunch are sitting around talking and a bunch are running around playing. At first I was sitting and talking with some relatives (including some who are dead) and one is talking about how they can fake a stroke or a heart attack or something and really scare people and use it to get out of difficult situations and things, and she demonstrates, but while she's doing it I can see inside her head and hear her thoughts, and it's weird. Then somehow I get wrangled into handing out things of some signifigance which I can't remember, like a pass for a seat or something like that. I give one guy, I think my uncle but I'm not sure this little turtle thing that I got somehow except that the bottom is still white plaster instead of green glaze like the rest. He gets pissed and insists that I paint it, he even provides the paint. So I go off and I'm trying to do that and I keep getting side-tracked by all kinds of other things happening and eventually I sit down to start painting. I have some light green paint but it's still darker than the turtle and some really dark green and some "clear" paint. I think it's supposed to be white, but it showed up as clear. So I put some green on the turtle with the intent of mixing it with some clear to get the right shade. Why I didn't mix it in a bowl or something is beyond me. And I go to put the clear on but it comes out as black and some people around laugh and I get all indignant saying "it's labeled clear, how was I supposed to know it was black" but when I look at it again it's labeled black and I get all pissed off. So I go off to help prepare food or something. There's a big gap here where dinner or whatever meal just happens. After the meal everyone decides to go to this cool abandoned/haunted random building. We all go and there are tons of people all over the place running around and looking at things and there are tons of side rooms. I peak into a side room and see a bunch of crap, and Olin and James and some other people I don't remember are in there doing nothing in particular so I go and I'm talking to them and after a while most of them leave. So I go looking around the room and I find this door at the back of the room and when I open it I see another cluttered room with a bunch of white spectres in it which I immediately recognize as Saints. How this is I do not know, but it is. So I close the door and say something to the effect of "hey, did you know there are saints in there?" And Olin says "yeah" like it's no big deal. And then there's some randomness I don't remember and then we're near the exit of the house but we take a little side path thing that seems just like another exit, but we end up in the room with the saints and one of them is like "please close the door" and I'm like "oh, sorry" and I close the door, but then I don't know how to get out. And there's this random woman, classic fat witch type, and she's like, you need to go back and go out the right way, or something like that. But I don't know what she means, so I start going back and there's this clothing rack like in a department store, and it doesn't seem to stick out at all, but it's there. And as I walk past it and turn around I see the little room I was in, but when I get to the other side of the rack the little room transforms into a gift shop for the haunted house and the rack is part of the shop. Olin comes out of the little side room and then this guy I saw earlier through the room with the saints comes out after him and he looks like he's going to go into the house, but he can't and he can't figure out why. Then Olin points out this sign above the door which says in some script I can't read (it gets subtitled in my dream, which was amusing) "No Blacksmiths Today." And the guy go "oh, darn" and leaves, and Olin's making fun of the sign in some random way, then we leave and everyone else is outside then I woke up. There is some more, but I don't remember it and I don't remember where it fits anyway.
