If this is true, then yes we were lied to. I guess you get what you pay for. Free game = thier rules = players have no say. I love it here, but some of the fun seems to be going away....

last time i checked the name of the forum was "general" not, nothing but political talk here

I think that it is going to come down to this, no matter how well thought out your arguements are, no matter how passionate you are with your desire, no matter how many contridictions there may be in the ruling, the ruling will stand. You see, on this board there is no real way to for the players to make a change. That , I suppose, is just the way that it is. Do not mistake this for a general complaint about the state of the forum, rather it is the simple truth.
I do not think it is fair to blame the mods (they are unpaid infact), they are but following orders from on high, and not making this ruling themselves.

Do I miss Forum 7 ? Yes. It's absence is one of the main reasons why I have not been playing much of late.

Will I miss the word games ? Hell yes. They filled my down time with much humor and fun.

Will I miss the quote pyramids ? Oddly enough, I will not. I know that they began my most famous play time (Temple of the Mods/Where are our magical powers)

Just remember the good times that we had, as the discussions of politics, religion, and sexuality take over the forum. Remember the good times, and find what solice you can in the threads that are still allowed, find a good tavern thread and relax for a bit.
