I'm fed up hearing that all the server problems are due to spam. Word games are harmless fun. A little diversion.

I quite agree that multiple threads and real spam is annoying, but cummon word games?

Get a grip folks.

The RP guys tie up band width too, don't we have rights too.
Gays have rights, Bush supporters have rights etc etc etc What about us harmless spammers who "just want to hang out" the intro to General says?
Spend a few bucks and get a better server, or something whatever happened to this Jolt I heard about?

Yeah, look at the topic/posts ratio on II and then the topic/post ratio on General. All the unused threads.

They delete and delete and the problem persists.

stubtle spamming is much more fun. because the mods suspect that its spam, but cant do anything about it because its defendable.

Most of it is harmless fun. Some multiple threads and stuff is hard to take but word games????

I thought I was just a little outcast from that days of "If you are bored, post here." Man, for such a boring thread, it really kept my day full of laughs.

Maybe when we move to Jolt, then they'll have a better tolerance to spam? :)

I wouldnt compare General to the RP forums, that is what this site was made for, Role Playing. And I'm saying this objectivly, I've never role played in my life. Go make your own forum for word games, or join the unmentionable forum.

Personally, I think this Jolt thing was just to placate us. I'm not sure it even really exists.

The reason I went to "forum unknown," was for that reason. I still try to visit here, but I am a ghost among a sea of people.

I see nothing wrong with spamming really so long, I use a filter that works so well its not even funny I'm fine no problem it is a bit invasive but it can be dealth with by we the people no need for government action

I like spammers (so long as they stay in thier own threads) and I like spamm topics. I love word games and temples, bars and coffee shops. I think a little random sillyness makes everyone happy. Heck, even the mods were playing along for a while, when they were posting in the temples and such.
Spamm is the bite size, chocolate covered candies that makes the heavy meals of roleplay and political discussion bearable. Even to those of use who participate in both.
I know that I come over and play word games when I need a break to think about a RP story line or to recover form the latest political verb war.

Spamm-on my brothers and sisters !!! Let the nay-sayers complain about bandwidth and such, but pay them no mind. I say cry havok and let slip the hounds of spamm !!!!
