I could see running for something like School Board or City Council sometime in the future, but I wouldn't want to go any bigger than that.

I intend to try and become Prime Minister of Canada. No joke.
I have a very keen interest in politics and have chosen it as one of my possible career paths. I hope to one day become Prime-Minister of the United Kingdom when I am Chairman of the Conservative party.

Republican or whatever party replaces the Republican party's stances.

I ran for school board in 1998. 3 people were elected out of the 9 that ran. I came in 5th. I missed 3rd place by a little over 200 votes. Hehehe, it was certainly an experience.

I may one day consider trying to latch on to a campaign and get appointed as "The Fed."

So any idea of under what political party you guys will run? I'm somewhat liberal, but not sure if the Dems are the right party for meSince I'd be running in a local election, it would depend on the makeup of the electorate--I'd run as a Green if there was enough of a party apparatus to help make it a legitimate run. Otherwise, I'd probably run as a Democrat. Certainly not as a Republican.

Put me down as the power behind the leaders. Oh and if any of you wish to have some major financial backing and the support of a strong commercial entity when you run for office, I would suggest letting me know.
Can someone explain to me what the fudge bucket you people are talking about? President for what?

I intend to take over Cuba once Castro dies.
I was planning on running for Federal Senate in Australia, the country needs a few more Independants to through spokes in the wheels and light torches up their arse... I love that analogy.
I'd like to see how you stand up to a General of an outstanding rank thanks to a World War 3
Remember General Grant? General Jackson? General Washington? General Eisenhower?
Add General Colodia (Real name undisclosed) to that list....
No seriously, I'm going for it...

No seriously, I'm going for it...lol, that''s liek my plan to create an Oceanic Union which would include Asia and have it rival the strength of th EU, I of course would be the Chairman with "veto" and "tribune" powers.
My aim is to become the longest serving Prime Minister of Australia.
While I would prefer the status of Emperor, I have to be realistic  Nobody would ever accept that, however I can live with being PM.
Oddly enough I am not in it for the money. Considering you can earn much more in the private sector than what you will earn as a politician the financial issue is irrelevent.
I want to make my country strong and secure. I want to turn my vision of what I'd like to see become a reality. And I will work damn hard to ensure it happens.
Rule #1 - Never ever give up even when things are not looking good. If you fall, you pick yourself up and keep at it.
In the end hard work pays off (albeit with some crafty politics to ensure your rivals do not succeed  )
So put me down on the list.

Well just to let you know, Australia will never join this Oceanic Union. And if it ever joined such a Union I would withdraw.

Cuba would only join to piss off the Americans. :P
Cuba would only join to piss off the Americans. :Plol, but seriously America are digging their own gave. They may be a super-power now, but the EU is gaining huge economic power and it won't be long before they hold quite a militayr might too. Are these really the people you want to piss off?

Australia will trade with Asia, but will never work with Asia under a Union. Asia and Australia will never get along. We heard so from the leader of Singapore and ex Malaysian PM. Australia must be 50% Asia before we will be accepted into ASEAN (and most likely any other type of union).
And that will never happen.

Pfft, as President I promise to make peace with the EU and enforce civil rights and put the economy at it's highest point like it was back in....what? 1995?

Free energy factory? Can I ask what that is exactly?
I couldn't care about energy factories when one of my policies is to maximise Australia's long term energy supply through the utilisation of geothermal sources. 3-5km beneath the surface (through drilling) there is enough energy to provide Australia with 7,500 years worth of electricity (turbine generated).
I am still writing this policy up properly though.

I plan to flood the American markets with cuban cigars, buying out all the cigarette companies, moving their hadquarters to Havana, ending up with my direct control of American lung cancer.
Oh... and I'd militarily seize Guantanamo. Get your ass back to your own damn country! :P

If someone were to create a device which harnessed energy from the zero point energy field then that individual would be making a before tax profit of tens of billions of dollars a year. Still couldn't care less?
Colodia.
You can be sure that Australia will support the USA in any venture that seeks to protect Western Civilisation.
Under me, you will have a very powerful ally south of Asia with 70 million people by 2060 and a strong economy (and therefore military).

Yes my wealthy, happy and powerful subjects with an unlimited energy supply that is also cheap.
Meanwhile...
Vitania's subjects are cold, hungry and begging for the basics as their nation is plunged into poverty by overspending on ideas that could never work
